This is my folk song page. I have been singing folk songs for over forty years, and I hope to use this site to share my songs and information about them. You are welcome to add information and links to your songs.






Raymond's YouTube Channel: You will find a lot of my songs here, but they are not in any particular order. I am using this wetpaint site to organise the songs according to their origins or subject matter.

Hi Raymond,

Thanks for posting the song and lyrics of "The Leaving of Nancy". Both my sisters emigrated from Ireland to California in the 80's and one sister sang that song for our mother on the night before she left (we still have a cassette recording!). I still cannot read the lyrics without crying!!!

Also, may I say that "I Hate Wogs" is quite brilliant. The fact that you get support from racists says quite a lot about their mental ability I would say. In New York, in the last century, New Yorkers' thought that they could catch potato blight from Irish immigrants - LOL!
